Rajadamnern Stadium is the city’s oldest venue for watching professional Muay Thai, an ancient martial art and Thailand’s national sport. One of only two main Muay Thai stadiums in Bangkok (along with Lumpini Stadium), Rajadamnern Stadium can hold up to 10,000 spectators. The site was established in 1945 as Thailand’s national boxing stadium and today remains a pre-eminent indoor sporting arena.
Matches are held every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6.30 p.m. to 11.00 p.m., and every Sunday from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. with a second card from 8.30 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. Three seating classes: ringside, 2nd and 3rd class. Beverages including beer as well as snacks available during matches.
Novotel Bangkok Silom Road guests can most easily get to Rajadamnern Stadium by metered taxi; travel time is approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic.
