A former residence of the American gentleman who did so much to revitalize the Thai silk industry and establish its worldwide popularity, during two decades in Thailand. Jim Thompson House is a well-preserved compound including six Thai traditional houses made of teak surrounding by the beautiful tropical garden, each decorated with artworks and Thompson’s extensive antique collection from throughout Southeast Asia. Also gift shop with hallmark silk designs and small café.
Jim Thompson House Museum on Rama I road, guests of Novotel Bangkok Silom Road can get there by taking BTS from our hotel and getting off at National Stadium station.
